About Me

With a B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University, as well as 5+ years of experience as a veterinary assistant and professional dog trainer, I have a vast amount of knowledge in animal behavior and care. My journey began with a fascination for canine behavior and has evolved into a career dedicated to helping dogs reach their fullest potential, whether as beloved family pets or essential service companions.

My passion for training service dogs was ignited 9 years ago, when I was connected with Atlas, a stray German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix that needed a job. After nearly a year of training for public access and specialized task work, I had achieved a new level of independence with him by my side. We worked as a team for 6 years before he inevitably had to retire from work. Since Atlas’ retirement, I have continued to train and help raise service dogs for others in need.
